Macrodystrophia lipomatosa of the right foot: a case report and treatment

Macrodystrophia lipomatosa (MDL) is a rare congenital disorder characterized by localized gigantism of one or several digits. It mayinvolve the entire limb due to progressive overgrowth all mesenchymal elements with an excessive increase in fibro-adiposetissues. occurs most commonly lower limbs. comes clinical attention for cosmetic reasons, mechanical problems secondaryto degenerative joint disease, development neurovascular compression. We report case MDL right foot withdifficulty walking and wearing footwear. With complete radio-clinical workup history review, provisional diagnosis wasmade, confirmed histopathology during surgery.
